Just thought I'd shove this on here. This weekend Burton upon Trent hosts its second Ale Trail. It involves 13 independent pubs and micropubs all getting together and putting on some great beer, snacks & entertainment. More can be found here https://www.facebook.com/groups/burtonaletrail download the programme for an incredible beer list, many you'll never have heard of. Pints average £3.50
People go from all over the country to enjoy the event. Around 160 ales from 80 breweries and all served direct from the barrel. It's like a beer festival only you move around the town rather than a hall. For anyone who managed the half marathon Sunday there is even a Ale Trail Jog taking in all 13 pubs, better than water stations.
