Technically speaking, banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland issue their own banknotes which are also "pounds sterling". Therefore, the Bank of England currency could be referred to as an "English and Welsh" pound

I was on the pitch too. Certainly louder than an average Arsenal match, I saw Green Day & The Kaiser Chiefs

Brighton- London Bridge/Thameslink running though?
Look like it atm. Thameslink (Cambridge-bound) goes direct to Finsbury Park so no need to bother with London Bridge - it'll be virtually a football special
. Can also hop off at St Pancras and have a 35-40 min stroll from there
