[News] VPN v Russia.

A number of news reports suggest the Russian government is trying to block social media and VPN,s are being used by the younger age to prevent this,now unless Putin cuts the cables (and he needs those cables) do VPN/soc/media have a part to play ?

How do you mean? Cant see how he can stop people having vpns on their phones

Much of the news is Russia blocking/closing down Soc/M. Apart from cutting the cables (and he needs them) can Putin disable S/m ?

blocking websites is easy, and with control of the network kit, you can look for signature patterns to identify and block VPN or pretty much anything.
