This is where we miss Ed Bassford. Well, that and many more occasions.

He'd have known him, confirmed his support, and then grumbled about something to do with lorries or hops or nuclear power stations that Kent County Council get lumbered with.

He represents a part of Tunbridge Wells for the County Council - you’ll find there are lots of us here in the Wells. Brighton supporters, that is, not Tories. Of course there are plenty of them, too.

I thought Tunbridge Wells was almost exclusively Palace territory, happy to be educated on this.
