I remember a few years ago, going to Spurs v West Ham on the Saturday morning, onto the coach to see Southend v Albion in the afternoon (or evening), then on to the coach again next day for Chesterfield v Albion.
Not often you can tick off three grounds in a weekend.

6am feed cat, empty litter tray (I hate our cat) and a coffee
7am shit, shower, shave
8am Sainsburys
9am home and unpack
10am take daughter to football practice
11am still stood there with a coffee chatting about shit to other dads & mums
12am leave and head home, lunch, coffee
1pm drop daughter into town
2pm home, hoover, and quick tidy up whilst listening to music
3pm spend an hour in the garden tending to weeds etc
4pm pick daughter up, run her friend home aswell
5pm retire to the bedroom read a book
6pm cook diner and clean up
7pm argue with wife and daughter about who gets to watch the big tv in the front room
8pm watch match on ipad in bedroom
9pm nip downstairs, raid the crisp box and sneak a bottle of wine upstairs
10pm shout feck it.... and go to bed.....

To be honest 10pm has an optional extra two hours of heavy drinking and re watching the match several times.

You should be the one watching the big tv after spending your day off running your daughter around and doing other chores.

Long gone are the days of doing what I want, when I want...

To be fair I had a good crack at it 40years before my daughter popped along.
I have benefits, when I get long weekends to myself away with mates. Price we pay, my friend.

16.45 watch Rugby
19.00 head over to Spuds ground.
20.00 cheer on the boys

Nice walk around the West Chilt vineyards in the morning. Worthing v Wingate & Finchley at 3pm. A spectacular low 'n slow smoked BBQ in the evening with very good friends where exceptional wines, divine malts and brandies and international liqueurs will compliment the evening.

To be honest, they both might want to watch, she supports the Albion, but enjoys going more, she gets right into it.
watching it upstairs is sometimes preferable if they both watch, i have to put up with lame questions and comments (usually from the wife)
"Oh dear, never mind"
"stop swearing at the tv, your daughters sat next to you"
"did you get some mangos from sainsburys"
"there's always next year"
"explain offside again"

I think it is best for everyone if I watch it alone, so I can pace around the bedroom, and watch through my fingers.

Shame, I would have loved to have gone, I took the wife to the last cup game at White Hart Lane, we lost only 2-1 that was epic and great support from our fans that day.
