It appears that Gary Dicker has retired from playing which suggests he no longer will be the over age player with the U23's. Over to NSC for suggestions of ex Brighton players who could fulfil that role which was previously held by Andrew Crofts

Oh it's always a shame when one of the under 23's has to retire from the game.

Huge credit to Gary for a solid career. Unsung hero in Gus's team that transformed the team and club.
To my mind he was the first midfielder we signed that marked the shift towards a more modern, possession-orientated brand of football (nipping in just ahead of Alan Navarro) that we hadn't really seen the like before. A true pass master of a CM.

Surely it's time for Dean Hammond to return to Brighton for a third time? They could do a big announcement on transfer deadline day, for old times sake

Last saw him doing media for the Southampton game. I guess he must be on an Aspinall kick down there as he was pretty much supporting them, referring them to as 'us' and never mentioning his connections with Brighton.

Thanks to Gary. A vital part of Poyet's team that began this journey. Played out of his skin in the Championship winning season.

We need to go and get Calde or Orlandi, or get El Capitan to turn out for the odd game. You know that you'd all go and watch. If they were seriously wanting someone, Roman Vincelot might be good.
