The new fan advisory board, which will be chaired by head of supporter services, Jenny Gower, will be made up of eight fan representatives, who will meet with some of the club’s most senior executives up to four times per season, including one meeting with the club’s main board of directors, to provide feedback on various fan topics.

The eight will be reflective of the diverse nature of the fanbase of our men’s and women’s fans, and those wishing to put themselves forward for the role, will need to be either a season ticket holder for the men’s or women’s first team, a 1901 Club member or a MyAlbion+ member.

All 1901 Club members, season ticket holders and members will then be invited to vote for their preferred candidates.

The topics which the fan advisory board will discuss and provide feedback to the club will include the following topics:

Club vision and stability
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Sustainability and environmental issues
Matchday experience home and away
Ticketing, including pricing
Stadium catering and hospitality
Communications with supporters
Developing and building the fan base
Community work and charity partnerships
Club traditions and heritage

The club is also planning a separate junior fan advisory board, open to under-18s on topics which directly impact and affect our younger supporters.

An outcome of the fan led review by Tracy Crouch maybe? A step in the right direction if they have any influence.

Interesting. NSC should have it's own candidate selection process, then put forward it's chosen individual - nailed on to get a place with the 'NSC vote' carrying him/her home

Just for the sheer hilarity, we should do that.

I nominate Pretty pink fairy and the Clamp. They could be our two representatives and we should make them host a live Zoom call with all NSC members before they set off to meetings.

The whole 'where do we station our horses at the Amex' question is going to be troublesome.

Fans Advisory Board

Ahead of the end of the current season, the club will launch a new fan advisory board, for supporters of both the men's and women's team.

But who will represent the views of the non Albion+members?!

Will Barber be there in person to tell the fans on the spot that all of their concerns are unfounded, or will that feedback appear in writing after the meetings in programme notes etc?

As opposed to all us lesser fans.

You're probably right.

It is being run by Jenny Gower, not Paul Barber. That is because the Albion is a proper business with a lot of good people working in it so the CEO is not involved in every aspect of it.

A question as to why the club cannot screen live all of the Albion U18 & U23 matches on their YouTube channel.
We are PL after all ???

Should be run by Sue Gray.

A fan led advisory board will be just that, advisory.
Let's start with the Spurs ticket fiasco.
BHA. ITV want to show our game at 8pm on a Saturday.
Fans. No way, how will we get home.
BHA. No, ITV will show it at 8pm and we have no say.
Fans. But we are the advisory board and we say fans should have a say about KO times.
BHA. Yes, you can have your say but ITV say 8pm Saturday. End of!
Fans. How many tickets do we get.
BHA. Up to 9000
Fans. Great, so we can all go.

Great idea but why is a diverse cross section of fans only made up of season ticket holders?
