He got some honorary award last month in Sweden and made a few interviews and I was surprised by how open he was to take a new job.

Most of their decisions on managers are silly but Ranieri should not have been appointed in the first place, and Hodgson is the best chance they will have to stay up so this seems unusually sensible.

Bloody typical any other season and we’d be saying well that’s them gone only two other teams to worry about

In the last 8 seasons they've finished 11th, 13th and 14th in the Prem - so higher than we've managed - and they've had 2 promotions from the Championship too.

Yes, the manager position is a merry-go-round but in spite of that they've managed to get a lot right too, and they've stayed debt-free - the last Balance Sheet shows they're £9million in the black compared with our £189 million in the red.

This.

Hoe anyone can call them a shit show of a club is beyond me.

Chelsea have had 14 managers in 14 years. Is that a shitshow of a club? They seem to have won an awful lot in that time.

But Chelsea have won a lot in that time. Watford have yo-yoed and have not been stable at all. The club is more than just the manager. Chelsea, apart from the big bucks, have a structure to support success which I am not so sure Watford have. See Everton.

Ah, was kind of hoping our Chris would get the gig, reckon he could do a job, rescued us and Forest in the championship, and kept us up twice - wouldn't have been the most popular choice of course but he'd sort out their defence. He won't have become a bad manager overnight.

Roy probably a more obvious shout though after the work he did at Palarse

Maybe Chris has just decided to be sensible and enjoy his retirement!

Everyone can stop worrying, Ranieri has already found a new position.

Watford's last 5 premier league away wins have been under 5 different managers.
