Lucky they didn't have too many injuries, Covid+ or AFCONs to make this trip

Unless they can get in with any UK embassy or British Council staff. The biggest piss up I've had in recent years was at a Christmas party in Riyadh courtesy of just one of these people.

Oktoberfest in the German embassy in the DQ is legendary. Suckling pigs, steins, fraulines. Not haram within diplomatic compounds

Why go to one of the few countries in the world other than North Korea that still has public beheadings . Horrendous country .

This trip will not go ahead as Newcastle will claim Covid and injuries and look for a postponement.

Smug Eddie loves the Kool-aid. Slurp it up, Ed. Morals, schmorals.

BTW - do you need to launder blood money? Can't see Greggs taking it otherwise.

Where better if you want to send the players a particular message. I hope they aren’t to intimidated and manage to keep their heads.

Newcastle players will be able to take their women with them, the team fly out the day after the Leeds match, the Women's steamboat ferry leaves Southampton 3 days later and all being well should make it out the harbour.

He says he doesn't know if he'll meet the owners... wasn't the whole reason the deal went through because they made clear the Saudis ARE NOT the owners? (Obviously everyone knew they were) so soon after the deal and they no longer care about keeping up appearances apparently.

I thought the PIF was in no way related to Saudi Arabia?

Its not that PIF is Saudi owned-that much is not in question. The issue was that PIF is not Saudi Government owned (which we all know it is, the PL just conveniently pretend it isnt).

These new owners seem on the ball. A trip to Riyadh in the middle of a relegation battle will freshen them up no end. Eddie is right. This is in no way a distraction (itches beard)

After murdering countless Yemeni civilians today with a Saudia airstrike. What better way to try and sports wash away the grim realities of the true owners.

Maybe a visit to chop chop square to see a public beheading will help to unify the club personnel to its owners.
