Having thought he might die on stage when I saw them at the Brighton Centre at the peak of Bat Out Of Hell I was impressed with how much longer he’d lived.
I have seen a few interviews with him and he was always very humble and extremely grateful to his fans

Saw him live a couple of times, for a big fella he could hold a great show, mind you he did get through some hankies!!!

Gutted, saw him live in the early 90s and it's still one of my favourite shows I've been too. Tremendous performer and came across as a decent bloke in all of his interviews, humble and down to earth. He'll be missed. RIP Meat Loaf.
