Oh this is GOOD news. Notsomuch as I disagree with his anti vax stance, but it would very much be another case of one rule for the rich and one for the rest of us plebs.

I'm reading that its because his team have completed an incorrect Visa which is why he currently can't get into the country.

In some ways I hope they let him in and the Aussie crowd destroy him while he plays, that will be brilliant TV and I'd love to see the arrogant put in his place

I would have thought after this it will be difficult for him to play on the tour as most countries he will want to travel to are going to have their population up in arms if he is let in.

I imagine they will let him play in the end.

Australia was happy to let in celebs through out this all whilst banning it’s own citizens from returning, even to see dying relatives.

Not so sure, public opinion is heavily weighted towards sending him away. They have a federal election this year...

Yes.

There is also a clear political battle between federal and state authorities around who decides the rules on entry into the Country, I suspect the federal government will win. As you say, public opinion is so overwhelmingly against the Serb, it will severely mire the whole tournament if he plays.

Sounds like he won the case. But they can cancel his visa and deport him anyway. Reports now saying he’s been arrested in preparation for deportation.
