Pity the poor sub-editor that had to get that down to just 2000 words!

Albion win a couple of games, Barbs finds a platform to tell the world how wonderful we are and what a good job he's doing.

On repeat

You think this has been written, edited, subbed and posted since Sunday evening?

Christ there are some worryingly cynical people on here who just HATE looking mugs when we do well and can’t enjoy our success at all it seems

I really feel "safe" with Bloom and Barber running the show. Personally I think Barber is doing really well. Don't agree with everything, but the negatives are small and few compared to the huge successes.

I think you may be speaking for the silent majority there.

Oh and you’re Paul Barber and I claim my £5. [emoji23]

Paul Barber is quite easily our best ever signing in my opinion. So much of our competence and gravitas as a football club is down to him.

I love Barbs (and Tones and Danz, obvs. And Potz.). Anyone who can't see how very lucky we are to have him I find totally baffling.

I thought about PB when watching highlights of the Burnley v Leeds game the other day, when a bottle got launched from the crowd and hit Matt Lowton while he was celebrating a goal.

Wouldn't happen on Barbs' watch... #BottleTopBan

Great article. Can see he's a main driver for the club, we're lucky to have him.

Great article.

I still think PB (bottle tops and season ticket sharing aside) was the best signing Tony made. And he is a very nice guy.
