No issues being checked but just curious to see how many they are actually checking given only 2 ticket office windows are open…. FA509394-0F5F-45AA-9376-40EC571A9A96.jpeg

Yes i've been picked.

Its going to be an absolute nightmare isn't it? Nice of them to open at 5 but most people work till at least then.

And to only open two windows? if they're checking half the tickets thats what, 6000 per window?

The worst bit is they have been doing spot checks apparently so their processes are ready for when its mandated, which now it is they've completed changed them.

I been picked but how is this random everyone who didn't get picked can attend the game knowing they didn't have to do a flow test if they not double vaccined meaning they could have the virus and spread it to others

I think they’ll still do spot checks on people in the queues to get in.

So if they are inviting 20% of tonight’s attendees to visit windows 9 and 10, that’s about 5,000 people, or 2,500 for each window.

As there are several steps to the process for each person visiting the window (checking covid online form submitted, checking NHS covid app or negative LFT, checking photo ID, revalidating match ticket etc etc) including the time each guest will take faffing around with phones, apps, papers, IDs etc, I reckon each customer check will take 2 minutes. On that basis, 2500 multiplied by 2 minutes, is 5000 minutes, which is 83 hours to process them all. On that basis, the person at the back of that queue, assuming the window stays open 24/7, should reach the front at about 4am on Saturday morning.

Agree. Strange. Assume that means no email and no check so anybody not vaccinated with no email can attend.
Also assume many are not continually checking emails

I think another thread from his interview said 20% will be checked so I guess about 6K

So if 60% of 6000 attend that's 3,600 or 1,800 a window, shouts superspreader event to me. Say 1 mintue per person that 1,800 minutes hmm, somebody hasn't thought this through have they

Well, everybody who didn’t receive an e Mail but are unvaccinated and untested can now breathe a sigh of relief (on to everybody else in the stadium) and enjoy the game.

Sorry, I voted yes by mistake. I was checked going into the Watford game. I haven’t received an email like that today.

So actually this was fairly painless. According to the window staff it was only 250 who were emailed for a spot check.

Annoyingly though I was then checked again as I went in so they need to look at that for next time otherwise what's the point?

So I stood in line for the North stand to have my covid passport checked, I got to the checker and he started to wave me through I told him to check, he had a quick look at my phone then walked away before I could show him my I D. With that another steward came over and told the to stop the checks, which the did. So much for plan B.
