We always tend to rewatch the Harry Potter series at Christmas.

They're not Christmas films, strictly speaking, but they're nice to watch cosied up with the wood burner going.

It's something I want to do this year.

My son is a Harry Potter obsessive. He ploughed though the books at quite an early age and has them all on Audible. I was working through them on Audible, but somehow lost my way a while back, so I want to go through the films and I'll return to the books later on.

Put the phones down, close the laptops and just get absorbed in the films. And chocolate.

How many accounts does the OP crodo have on Mumsnet, I mean NSC!?!?! I think we need a return to terraces and 70s/80s violence to re-set things. What the heck is going on?

Elf and Die Hard (Christmas airport verson) always a must watch.
If you're un-tv types, perhaps listen to Patrick Stewart recite a Christmas Carol on audiobook.....fab :)

Watched The Bishops Wife last night on Prime, what a fantastic film this is, the special effects as Cary Grant's head plays the harp are truly a work of art .

I expect you guys have already ‘done’ Harry Potter at Universal, Orlando.

We hadn’t read up or googled it beforehand, so it came as a wonderful surprise, we still talk about discovering a certain alley in turning a corner.
