Serious question for OP: Do you want to be an author or a film-maker?

IMHO best course of action would be to hire a hefty agent and let things run their course.

I've toyed with the idea of an agent but TBH I just really love doing this stuff on my own terms. Earns me just about enough money and I choose what I do.

I may be able to earn more cash up in London with an agent but might end up staff writing on Eastenders or something... and who'd want to do that!

To answer your question. Filmmaker. I wrote the books as something to do during lockdown when film stuff was out of bounds.

Thanks mate - yeah it's started pretty well. Also got selected to premiere the film at The London Independent Film Festival if any London based NSC'ers fancy a night out on April 5th!

Awards at the Sweden Film Festival is probably a good thing on the CV if you want to try to sell it to the Swedish public TV ( https://b2b.svt.se/international.html ).

We kind of did all that stuff last year. It's all about getting in seen now... the worst / hardest bit!
