What a tournament we're having with shocks happening everyday. Last night one of the biggest upsets of all-time was caused in this event with 1/14 David Gilbert losing to Andy Hicks, priced at 7/1. That is ridiculous in a two-horse race.

Anyway, it's quarter-final day and the line-up is as follows:

Anthony 'Tartan nugget' McGill v Luca 'Belgian bullet' Brecel.
Ronnie 'the rocket' O'Sullivan v Kyren 'the warrior' Wilson.
Barry 'the Hawk' Hawkins v Andy 'box of tricks' Hicks.
Jack 'jackpot' Lisowski v Zhao 'pot noodle' Xintong.

Hoping for a Ronnie v Jackpot final which would be an absolute belter.

The Chinese often have this nickname which is a bit stereotypical but not meant to be offensive in any way, shape or form.

Copying the darts players is a bit silly but there's a couple of reasonable nicknames in there.

The Rocket v The Warrior could be a classic of the ages. Good to see the Hawk back in decent nick as well.
