It’s funny. If I can’t stand an actor I simply can’t watch anything they’re in but there’s very few actors I’ll watch a film just because they are in but rather I like them in some of the films, TV or theatre they have done.

Bruce Willis is great. Never getting any credit since he is mainly in action movies (some of them not particularly good) but he is great in pretty much any role.

Jeremy Irons. Great actor.

Will Smith. Do I think he is a great actor? No. Is his movies any good? No. But he seem like a genuinely nice fella, so I like him as long as I dont have to see him.

Harvey Keitel. Always good and almost all of his movies are good as well.

Kim Bodnia. Danish actor in a lot of godlike movies. In the UK he might be known primarly for his role in The Bridge.

William Hurt. Random dude but always good.

+ more that I cant think of right now.

I’d say I enjoy most things that Mads Mikkelson has been in. The Hunt, The Pusher trilogy, Another Round, Riders Of Justice the list goes on. Remarkable films. And an interesting man. Started out as a gymnast and dancer before moving into acting.

Mark Rylance, Frances McDormand, Daniel Day-Lewis. I do like a Clint Eastwood movie too.

I'll watch anything with Jennifer Lawrence in it, for less worthy reasons

How the **** can we have 30 posts without De Niro? You should all be clubbed to death with a baseball bat. I'll add Joe Pesci too. I love a good, foul-mouthed gangster movie

Edit: Samuel L Jackson has done some proper good stuff too, just not Snakes on a melonfarming plane.

I was minded to put in many of the casts of the mafia subject movies, but had to draw the line somewhere. Love pretty much all the movies of that genre.

De Niro - Raging Bull and Meet The Fockers were also quality.

Jack Hawkins if only for his role in The Cruel Sea, a masterful portrayal of a good man having to do bad things for the right reasons (if you have seen the Film you will know which part I am talking about).

Loved Brett. The first season of Holmes was insane.

Jack Hawkins was a great actor.

As was the yank William Holden.

For some reason, I often link the two.
