i've watched some south american football, they need entertaining at half time.
Has this not already been pooh-poohed?

I wouldn't especially care if they did this for certain games. Maybe last game of the season. Cup final. Etc.
But not every game and especially not midweek

Watching games on TV, especially Sky, I thought they already had extended to 30 minutes!
It certainly seems like it.
Alternatively, on the rare occasions I go back to the UK to watch a live game, it seems to be 10 minutes, as by the time you get to the concourse, queue for a pint, drink it and have a pee, the players are back out.

I still remember it being 10mins and you'd always hear "it's 20 to 5, the results are coming in".
Did it change around the end of the 80s? I remember when I played 10mins seemed long, long enough to start getting stiff and cold. Long enough for me to sometimes think "why am I here getting shouted out by an idiot who thinks he's Alex Bloody Ferguson in the freezing cold kicking a ball about on a muddy part frozen bog..."

Its not actually on the agenda of the IFAB meeting that is supposedly discussing this - although some reports it might be raised as (i guess ) AOB.
Its also fairly normal for these sort of things to be raised and even talked about - why not - but there's zero chance of it being signed off as there's minimal support for it.
