BHA v Leeds - Score Predictor

  • Total voters

  • Poll closed .

BHA (9th) entertain Leeds (17th) for the tea-time Saturday kick-off. A win & the Seagulls could climb into a European slot. Defeat & we could slump into the bottom half of the table. BHA, winless in the last 8 matches, have only beaten Watford & Leicester at home, so far, drawing two & losing two. Leeds have only won twice so far this campaign. They have won at Norwich away from Elland road & lost 3 & drawn 2 matches away. Head to head we have met 47 times, winning 18 (each) & drawing 11. Last year we did the double - winning 2-0 at home & 1-0 away.

Tricky predicting the score, but I am 100% positive that there will be a hundreds of Yorkshire bell ends making slit throat gestures at the old folk and kids in the East Stand...as usual

I’ve got a bad feeling about this one, which probably means we’ll win!
Plus side is that I’m not sure the best manager in the universe has it in him to follow the lead of Saudi Utd and Stevie G’s Villa and set up first and foremost to frustrate us. He’ll try to play their normal open game which can suit us.
Totally depends on if the Albion show up and if Potter picks a bunch of snails in midfield as he did on Saturday. For the love of Murray please don’t start Gross.

This will be a shit game if we set up how we have the last couple of games and working with a Leeds fan will be unbearable next week if we lose.
I'll sit on the fence on this one and go 2-2.

voted 1-1 but unlikely we'll score . . . so maybe 0-0.

depends who turns up on the day I suppose.

Its hard to call for me.. On paper, this game should suit our style better than Villa or Newcastle, but if Leeds score 1st and they can certainly do that, it may open up too much. I have gone for 2-2, believing neither team will keep a clean sheet, but we were so dominant vs. them in both games last season, I know I sound pessimistic. My Brighton-supporting life is just easier that way!
would select pace in midfield (Mwepu or March) to match the Leeds work-rate, so cannot be both Gross and Lallana (I hope) and I may also switch Burn in for Duffy to bring a little more athleticism against a side that can break quickly assuming we play 3 at the back. Assuming Welbeck still out, but hoping Mwepu is available if the false 9 experiment continues - it worked well against LIverpool, City and Leeds will be more akin to that than Newcastle or Villa?

I'm putting an inordinate amount of pressure on this game, which is just one of 38.

We're top 10, just, and 6 points clear of an atrocious, injury ravaged, The Leeds team.
To finish the game just 3 points above them is pretty much unthinkable.

It'll be a long dark winter ahead.

Ever the optimist!! I think we'll win handily, can't comprehend losing.
