Surprised no thread already. Decent start to the new season I thought. Slow to begin with but it built well after a lot of jumping around.

I liked the doggy. John Bishop was great.

Promises more for this series I think.

Gave it a go with the kids. Short review, too much going on and the jury is out. Admittedly, I missed the last 2 series which won't help either.

Ticked "Food Bank worker" off my BBC bingo card.

I'd say stick with it. There is very little back story you need to know about and this episode was very much a set up for the rest of the series. Would think and hope next week will be more focused.
