Apart from BBC local news all gone silent. A few here of which i was one was there that night and those who were there know where i am coming from. Dale or The Dale could face the same fate as Bury,Macclesfield Town and who is next and lets face it Spotland is a genuine ground however in a leafy suburb of North Manchester and the rolling hills of Derbyshire. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58883213

It's a shame this sort of thing happens.
The Albion have been there.
Some make it and some don't.
That's life I'm afraid.

I read the piece but it was quite involved, I couldn’t work out if there was an imminent threat to the club or are we just looking at a slow slide in years to come

The article is long and involved but I must correct your geography. Rochdale is on the M62 in the Pennines, near the Yorkshire border, nowhere near Derbyshire.

TL-DR

Well I read most of it but got confused over the bit about someone wanting to sponsor half a new training ground but something about something or other
