Mrs H away this weekend, meeting an old fanzine buddy from Hove half way.

Quality more than quality, so that rules out the carvery!

The Bridge or The Sovereign. I’d go for The Sov. Open fires, see.

The Marlipins does (did) a brilliant roast last time we went for a meal there. It was cuffing enormous, and only weighed in at something like £10.99, fantastic value for the amount of quality scoff they throw at you.

Do not - whatever you do - go to the Swiss. Absolutely rank.

I've not been there since Imogen left, hopefully it has upheld its standards ? The best all rounder in town.

A far cry from scooter club meetings and Ron the Landlord in the 80's
