Heard the very sad news yesterday of the death of the legend, and mainstay of The Jazz Butcher, Pat Fish. I’m not sure how well known the fella was to anyone on here, but he was one of those acts that I’ve loved since my mid teens. I last saw him in Preston about 5 years back, supporting fellow ex-Creation act, The Jasmine Minks. He was, of course, absolutely hammered by the end of the night, in true Fish style. He was a lovely fella responsible for some cracking tunes and will be sadly missed.

Sorry to hear that. I remember Pat presenting Transmission back in the early 90s. I think I still have some episodes on VHS knocking around somewhere. He was always a character. I'll dig out my copy of Fishcotheque and give it a spin in his honour.

Brighton factually.....
Sad news, Jazz was on a classic early Psychobilly compilation, when a lot of styles influenced it, I still have blood smattered vinyl as well..

Sad to hear this.
Went to a silly amount of their gigs back in the 80s mostly in London. They were usually the smaller type of venue and a guaranteed cracking night.
Fond fond memories of the music
