Belgium and Spain also play on the 10th as the 3rd/4th play off and the Nations League final happen on the same day.

We're actually in a very good position when it comes to internationals. Arguably only 4 key players go off, the rest can all get a good break in.

The only thing I really care about this international break is that Tross doesn't get injured. He is on fire at the moment, taking his game to another level and absolutely crucial to us.

Yes, he's by far the least replaceable of those on internationals

Veltman not even making the Dutch squad these days? Feels a bit harsh given he's barely put a foot wrong for us, regularly playing against tougher opposition than he did in Eredivisie. But I'm guessing there are others with youth a little more on their side getting in ahead of him.

Yes, except for Big Bob but I'm assuming he won't play at all.

I'd guess that IF Spain lose their first game (Nations League semi final v Italy) then he will make his debut on the 10th, in the Nations League Third Place Play-off, which will be effectively a friendly.

For that we should be very grateful. Dutch selectors know not what they do.
