I've just checked, and yes it does.
I'll take it and the worse that can happen is that they confiscate it.

When I park in the Bridge tomorrow, if it's 'issing it down, I'll be using my telescopic umbrella for the walk to the stadium. If mine's confiscated too, please make sure you don't take the wrong one when you go back home!

Small fold up umbrellas are permitted, although if you decide to be the wally with the brolly while watching the game, you are likely to get a lot of abuse until you fold the brolly away so people behind can see.

Always use an umbrella except if it’s very windy - hate getting wet and don’t like wearing a hood. It ruins your hair style !

Mine was very useful until it turned inside out. But it recovered.On the walk from Falmer station to the stadium I saw one in and two next to a bin, as much use as a chocolate teapot
