So, if Man City stop Chelsea from winning, Villa get something from inconsistent United and Brentford do what Brentford do, we beat Palace to go top. Easy, right?

Tasty weekends fixtures there.

I can’t help thinking - not just related to the Albion’s early success - this has the hints of being a fantastically dramatic season.

Just feel like there’s a lot of narrative all over the league, including a potentially very strong title race, and maybe an established Prem side or two (looking at you, Burnley and Newcastle) possibly staring down the very real possibility of relegation.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd all get a point, and we concede two stoppage time goals from Odsonne "F@ck's sake" Edouard, after leading since the 25th min. You read it here first.

It's about a 3% chance I'd say, so not totally beyond the realms of possibility.
Market pricing below for this to occur is courtesy of Bet365 - add in their bookmakers margin and you're looking at something like a 33/1 shot.

I had to check this twice, because my head can not really fathom it, but little old Brighton have more wins than the bottom EIGHT clubs (which includes Arsenal) combined, and no club has more wins than us. I know its early days, and the table is really meaningless, but even so, thats mighty impressive. Its even quite possible (though unlikely ) that if other results go our way (and individually they may well do so-though for all of them to would mean we have cashed all our owed luck from last season in) a win on Monday will see us top of the league

It really is the stuff of dreams

MOTM at Stamford Bridge - Michael Oliver.

Chelski players in threes and fours have attempted to bully him throughout. With a whingy crowd of cntish Cockney Chavs.

Yet he’s stuck to his job, seems to have got every decision right, well played.
