The Times this morning said that, at one stage on Saturday we had 10 internationals on the pitch at once. Is this correct?
If so …… wow!

Nine at the start with the exceptions being Webster and Maupay.

Moder for Webster would have made it 10.

Mac Allister for Welbeck would have kept it at 10.

March for Cucurella would have taken it back down to nine.

So, I guess if Mac Allister had come on for Maupay we'd have had a full 11.

we've come a long way from when we used to chant "we've got a Danish international" .........

Just as bad, why have you excluded U20s, U18s, U17s and U16s

If you include age group internationals then I think I’m right in saying that all 20 players involved on Saturday have represented their country at some stage of their career.

Do U21 / U19s not count? They're internationals, unless you mean FULL internationals.

If they do, we'd have had a full house.

It's great that you're around to question and clarify just in case we didn't all already understand what an international means in the sporting vernacular.
