You see, these things can be done without the need for politics or other contentious issues.
We can all get back to lacing daisies into each other's hair.

If only the OP had read the article where throughout it refers to a 'possible' landslide.
I now look forward to the next instalment where flooding is possible when it starts to drizzle and therefore we should all move to higher ground and evacuate our homes.

I'd take a spade to dig yourself out if there is a landslide then, and a canoe to evacuate in case of flood.
