Incredible. She's going to be a star, so good tonight. And so level headed and mature for an 18 year old, quite refreshing to see and great that we have a female GB tennis player who could genuinely challenge at the highest level

Watched the first set, never seen anything like that. Raducanu made a top 50 player look like she'd just picked up a racket for the first time.

The timing, the ball striking and the precision was incredible.

She went to the school around the corner from us in Orpington and trains there.
We met her on the train home a couple of months ago from Charing
cross and she is the most friendly, genuine and wonderful person as she
comes across on tv. It changed my opinion of tennis if people like that are
the future and I wish her all the very best that she gets. Go Emma!!!!

Winnable 4th round although anyone who knocks Barty out must be doing something right - doubt she’ll be on Arthur Ashe now,

Watched yesterday and the hitting was sensational, she was peppering lines the entire match. Even if she wasn’t British that performance would get a lot of attention.

Well l reckon she doesn't need the added pressure of being told that, especially with the way she had to bow out at Wimbledon. Just sit back, admire, and let her play her tennis. Then we'll see how far it can take her.

That was a panic attack at Wimbledon wasn’t it? I hope she can get over that when the going gets tough as she is a genuinely fabulous potential world class player. So mature for an 18 year old in interviews too.

Indeed it was a panic attack, that's why l feel she would benefit from being able to keep out of the headlines foir a while. No chance of that of course in this media led modern world.

Shows massive potential as you rightly say, let's just hope she is able to reach it.

Maybe, but then many thought the same about Johanna Konta too in her formative years. So far so good though.
