At least the train (and a couple of hapless passengers) got a good wash

How do you embed a tweet, tried but couldn't make it work

Use "[ tweet]" (without a space) then the numbers at the end of the Tweet URL then finish it with "[/tweet]"

Take the numbers from the tweet's URL (1433265683496902661) in your OP and stick it between square brackets in the following format (I have deliberately misspelled TWEET as TWEAT because otherwise it won't show as text. Note also the forward slash in the second bracket:

[TWEAT]1433265683496902661[/TWEAT]

[TWEET]1433265683496902661[/TWEET]

Pretty dramatic - how long do they wait before turning off the electricity? 😬

Not sure - pumping the water out at the minute.

So far at least 9 people have died as a result of the flooding

No you won't.

I suggest you post a few tweets today, just to get your eye in - so to speak.

It's pretty serious and I guess may get worse in future years unless NYC does some major engineering. I'm just trying to understand how the trapped passengers/ plus workers are kept safe from electricity with all that water. Tragic for people caught unawares.
