West upper entrance nearest park and ride was much better. Had an extra lane for us coming from p & ride, with no que. Covid pass checked but straight in. No body search today.

Covid pass checked, but no security check.

Then sidestepped people just getting their phones out at the turnstile or seeming not able to scan their ticket.

Yea had my T&T email checked on the way into the NS but not my ID. Was very simple and smooth as 2 blokes just walked down the q to get in and so didn't slow down the line at all.

Entered about 20 mins before the game and was about the same time to get in as it was with the 'body frisking' that was done before (now stopped).

Both games:

- Colossal, slow moving queues for the ES. People looked fed up, today some gave up and sat on the grass bank, waiting for the crowds to disappear at 3 o’clock.

- NS we sailed in, 5 minutes last week, seconds this week. No Covid or identity checks carried out whatsover!

Queuing for NS was much improved from last week, some barriers had been put in place to seperate queue for NS from that of WS. Steward asked us to have our covid passes and id ready, then another couple of stewards a few metres on checked them

Covid and Id checked, bag checked, no pat down. Then to the turnstiles where the entire queue seemed intent on only using one turnstile when the other three were clear, so I breezed past them after my bag check.

Much faster getting in this week.
There was a barrier to separate the queues for the North Stand and WSU, this seemed to stop the confusion for which queue to join( last week )
Fans at the WSU turnstiles seemed to be having no problems with their phones, apart from one chap that was directly in front of me

Some are still struggling with tickets on the phone

On my iPhone the “hold near reader” bit didn’t work last week or this week. Had to get the bar code thingy up. It wast he phone/system struggling, not me!

Got there early and no issues getting in at all. Even had time to chat to Bozza on the marathon trek up the stairs.

I suspect I also got to the bottom of the issues around the phone / turnstile. Last week the steward at the gate insisted the phone had to be read by putting it inside the turnstile reader, just like the card, Actually you just need to hover it on top of the reader, over the wireless icon.

Anyway, totally painless again.

The checks for champagne socialists was as lax as ever and man bags still not on the prohibited list so the OP should sleep easy ..
