A man walks into a pet store and asks for a dozen bees. The assistant carefully counts 13 bees out onto the counter.



"That's one too many!" says the customer.




The assistant replies, "It's a freebie."

Technically, the assistant should have asked the customer if he was a baker first, in which case 14 bees would have been required to fulfil the contract. <Consumer Rights Act 2015>

Whilst I applaud the generosity being shown by the shop keeper, you have to question the ethics and practicalities of selling bees over the counter like this.

I’d pay good money to watch the shop keeper count out bees on the counter (from the inside of my bee suit), probably more than the 13 bees cost in fact

I think I know the shop. Man went in there and asked for a goldfish.

Shopkeeper: "Would you like an aquarium?"
Customer: "So long as it's a goldfish I don't care what star sign it is."
