Throstles steamrollered Blunts tonight in the lower league. Not much more than artisan but a great result. Valerian, fresh from T' Barnsley looks like a driven and rather frightening tight-lipped-supremo

Meanwhile Hooten looks to be in trouble, sadly.

I'm glad we aren't in that tank of hopeful piranhas. So glad.

Nice simple and concise round up thanks HWT

West Brom are the new Crazy Gang.
Their long ball game makes Allardyce look like Potter in comparison.

Valérien Ismaël's style at West Brom is Wimbledon of the eighties born again.
Just stick the ball into the position of maximum opportunity.

Matt Clarke will love it there and they'll love him.
The Baggies will take some stopping.

Did you know I played football with you (possibly, near London Zoo) and some other NSCers, possibly hart's shirt and the lad who moved to America and then came back, some 20 years ago, Man of Harveys, and we are linked on Linked In? ??? We are, though ??? :lolol:

The ghost or Rory Delap taking throws

Icky Thump crossed with Harum Scarum. A recipe for yo yo promo-relagatio. Magnifico.

How ghastly!

.... and it will probably work just as well as it did then, much to the annoyance of football 'purists' and football snobs! :)

QPR to finish top 6 @ 7/2 is looking a good touch right now.

Just a shame I’ve got it in a bet with Charlton & Walsall to make their respective play-offs.

Sounds like I need some drug-induced synaptic plasticity, although I do, in this case, remember. :drink:

Can I just say right here and now that Matt does know how to kick a football ? Just so this can be bounced at the end of the season when the WBA fans turn up to tell us they invented him.

Super Sam gets the winner for Derby.

And this man is a cut above.

Would love to see him back at the Amex

The long term injuries to Colin Kazim-Richards (and Krystian Bielik, in a way) that allowed Derby to register another two players (they are under restrictions and can have a maximum of 23 professionals) could be a blessing in disguise for them really as Sam Baldock and Phil Jagielka could be pretty much exactly what they need to stay up.

Liam is obviously the brains of the outfit in that coaching set up.

He's doing a good apprenticeship at a good club, albeit one going through turmoil.

I don't doubt that he's one of the young coaches we're keeping tabs on, (as we did with GP), I don't doubt that come the day that Graham does move on, his CV will be one if the first to fall on Tony's desk.
