A British man has been arrested in Germany on suspicion of spying for Russia.

German federal prosecutors said the man - named only as David S - worked at the British embassy in Berlin.

He allegedly passed documents to Russian intelligence "at least once" in exchange for an "unknown amount" of money.

Hopefully it's not our former GK, now at Wycombe Wanderers

On a serious side, it seems Russia are still up to their old tricks.

As if the world wasn't sad enough, we have this utter nonsense going on in 2021. I despair
of this planet and some of the people living on it.

It's not just a Russian thing, pretty much all countries are still involved in espionage and its an accepted international practice for countries to send spies abroad disguised as diplomats.

Most of the time countries turn a blind eye to what goes on within embassies because they are all doing the same thing.
