1) I sleep with a truncheon hanging on the chair by the bed
2) I won't cut my toenails on a Sunday. (Mum)
3) I've only holidayed abroad once in the last 20 years
4) I don't wear green shirts because it's unlucky (Dad)
5) I've hardly lived away from the area I was brought up in.
Of course, the superstition is rubbish. But it's interesting how we keep observations sometimes without even realising them.
