Off topic a bit, but we often found live ammo up at the old rifle range above Worthing. We would stick them in a vice and smash them with a hammer to try to make them go off
Luckily none did, and I still have ten toes.
When I lived in Germany as a kid I found a couple of German WW2 helmets in a stream near to our house. Wish I’d kept them
