Sent Teddy Jenks on loan to Abderdeen. Alex Cochrane to Heart. Some kind of partnership with Hibernians. Couple of ex players playing for Rangers. Giving away the hotel rooms etc to Dundee.

Any other connections? And whats the evil plan here?

Well, we were nearly relegated out of division 4 and had we lost to Hereford we would have had to play the following season in the SPL (according to my son, who was 10 at the time) and out of a sense of relief we have been increasingly subsidising monkey tennis ever since.

Noticed Gordon Smith on the RangersTV commentary. Very much a case of 'Lawrensonism' - I may have played for little old Brighton during a very successful period but I am a Liverpool*/Rangers* man.
* delete as necessary.
Also funny that they have to fly up Clive Tyldesley to do the commentary as no one understands a Glasgae accent

Albion Rovers and Stirling Albion perhaps?

Actually l did meet a Stirling Albion season ticket holder at Withdean back in the day, we were his 2nd team apparantly and he came down to see what we were all about.

I don't think he was too impressed, saying crikey, even our ground is better than yours!

Disappointed he let the 'always battling relegation' trope pass without pointing out that we were never actually in one of the relegation places.

Jenks seemingly finding it not easy to get in at Aberdeen - a few minutes as a sub in the final pre-seasin friendly, and a few seconds against BK Hacken in the Europa Conference League.

The name for Scotland in most of the Celtic languages is related to Albion: Alba in Scottish Gaelic, Albain (genitive Alban) in Irish, Nalbin in Manx and Alban in Welsh and Cornish. These names were later Latinised as Albania and Anglicised as Albany, which were once alternative names for Scotland.

A combination of factors IMO, outside the big clubs the Scotland market is relatively undervalued. If any serious young talent emerges we’re well positioned to land them.

As a location Scotland is close. And it also has mutual benefit whereby we can have an additional loan outlet for our young talent.

I think its a bit too early to think too much about it. There will be plenty of opportunities for Teddy.
