I've done charity work in places in Africa that kids like this live & play.
My immediate gaze went to their feet as shoes are a real luxury for these people - no boots [or trainers] means they don't need shin-pads or socks either.
They will not be able to imagine what a place like Brighton is - but by giving them BHA shirts, I'd be certain that we will be forever in their hearts.
They are SO humble but can still find fun in the most basic of things.

Must stop now, I've got some dust in my eye ....

Oh man, this is fantastic

Had no idea .

They’ll need a 200’000 seater stadium if we pre season tour there in the future !

I love Kenya.

I went there 40 years ago though, I’d love to go back.

The people are lovely, dirt poor but lovely. Well, the ones I met were anyway.

I agree. I was there when Princess Diana died. The news was broken to me by a local who boarded our truck just as we were entering Tsarvo National Park - Genuine sorrow from him and every other Kenyan I met.

This is absolutely fantastic to see isn’t it?

Agree with Drew’s suggestion about donating old shirts. Looks like they could do with some boots too!

I wonder how many of us mug fans who buy new shirts every year could also donate old shirts to the cause?

I happily donate.

I'm not entirely sure one of my shirts would send the right 'we're all in this together' message.
Also I'm not entirely sure my ego could cope when I find out an extended family of 11 are sleeping under it.

I believe they’ve politely declined, they’ve got a young midfielder who is also a budding DJ and don’t want to stand in the way of his development by bringing Jurgen in.
