Brian Swanson, chief sports reporter for so many years at Sky Sports. Last day at SSN today, after the big loss of Jim White last month this is a big blow for Sky. Hopefully it will mean more airtime for the excellent Kaveh Solhekol.

Presentation and well wishes on SSN approx 4:30 this afternoon.

Can't stand SSN. Just loads of blokes (and women) with the ability to waffle on with inane maunderings on Twatter rumours followed by endless adverts for man gel.

The only ability of a 'good' presenter seems to be that they can make a one word sentence take up a whole 15 mins slot by just going on and on saying nothing of substance or anything that contacts facts and hard evidence.

Excellent news! Now he and White have gone, if they can just get rid of Dharmesh Sheth and Kaveh Solhekol too then Sky Sports news might become watchable again!

I think Craig Slater could pick up some of the slack, he has been a revelation as SSN senior F1 correspondent and is much loved by the viewers.
