No, it's addressed towards households where clearly they are too bone idle to do any hard work, where
their sad little lives revolve around having every f*****g appliance known to man to do everything and
couldn't give a sh*t about anyone else but themselves.

I own a powerful electric leaf collecting device, highly rated in reviews, but it seems quicker to me just to either collect on a lawn by mowing and elsewhere by hand. So it collects dust.

I'm a petrol head when it comes to garden tools. This includes a blower that I use occasionally to blow the grass cuttings into the bamboo.
I also have a lot of cordless tools. These make life easier as well.
I can't believe people are still trailing electrical cables over the lawn.....so very nineties

Never understand why people use those things, not great environmentally, burn electricity or gas, noisy and just a big faff. Some old school rakes are a thing of beauty, real craftsmanship. My folks use an original 1940s rake that’s as good today as the day it was made, pure garden porn the workmanship on it, the metalworking. If you can get your chops on vintage garden tools via eBay, the tip or wherever they are far sturdier and cheaper and all round sexier than what you’d find in places like Q&B (B&Q)

We spend sh*t loads on our gardens, patios, decking and furniture, a great place to relax, then some c*nt revs up a 1000cc mower and all the other paraphanlia, and when finished some other starts up........

I used to live next door to someone who, in the summer, would fill up the inflatable swimming pool and have all his daughters 11 year old friends round to scream in the garden.
Science to the rescue...
As you get older the upper range of your hearing goes. A 10 year old can hear frequencies up to about 20khz but an adult can't hear above about 15khz.
I got an amp and pair of speakers, put them on the windowsill and set my phone to play a single frequency just above what me and the mrs couldnt hear (about 16k5 iirc).
When I turned it up they all started moaning and buggered off indoors.
Still better than all the ****s with petrol mowers…….one at 8.30 last night, another at 8.30 this morning in our close and one now. Can’t hear the TV. Ban grasscutting !

I noticed you said the kids would come round to scream in the garden, rather than play.It’s probably me getting old or having really bad tinnitus, but I’ve noticed kids seem to scream constantly these days when playing. Rather than laughing or talking they see who can scream the loudest.

My recommendation for a complete garden waste of money is one of these
A woodchipper !Bought one years ago, spent hours 'chipping' a load of buddleia cuttings. When I say 'chipping', I mean 30 seconds chipping 5 minutes opening up blocked chipper, cleaning out blocked chipper, 30 seconds chipping etc
Has sat unused in the shed for a least 5 years now

Get a decent petrol version. Not only does it do the job effortlessly, but the noise levels means you don't have to listen to everyone elses kids screaming, or the alcohol fuelled chatter coming from a houseful of students a couple of doors away
