Last time any money appeared LDC sat on it for a couple of years.
It’s supposed to be for rejuvenating the High Street etc but we shall see.

I reckon a committee can be set up to do a feasibility study and maybe go on a few visits to see what other places have done and in about 4 years they'll have enough left to put up some new dog shit bins and buy a sign that reads 'Welcome to Newhaven'.

Maybe they could start by mooring our much needed £200M super yacht in the harbour and we can all watch Liz Truss sipping Sussex sparkling wine and waving from the stern as she sails off to cut our next trade deal.
That would put Newhaven firmly on the map.

Quite probably, but the funds are going to Tory marginal seats. That’s a fact. Ms Caulfied’s majority was reduced to 2000, last time out.
To be honest, it would be better to give it to ESCC to fill in the potholes. After all, they wasted £23M building a bridge to nowhere.
