Come on you sad sacks, dust yourselves off and start looking forward.

This is in no way connected to any kind of 'I was so wrong about the 21/22 season' that may or may not appear next May.

I don't have much outside of the Premier League.

- Man City and Chelsea streets ahead of the rest.
- Man Utd will scrape by despite OGS.
- Last season for Clipperty.
- Worse season for North London.

- TB won't quite get his wish but the Albion will be close enough, all season, to forget about the specifics.

Now for STAT's HOT TAKE:-

- None of the promoted teams will be relegated.

To early to predict.

Waiting for the transfer window to shut, can you reschedule to the end of August, please???

Silly me, of course all your vague predictions will be correct in May, if you make them in August instead of today.

Good if we get a striker but most important position to fill is LB/LWB. Cant have Burn playing there again. Still think Fulhams LB would be good

All the really good talented black players will get abused all year for no reason by fans of all clubs including their own.

Palace do annoyingly well against the odds.

We are safe - but not as safe as we would like and are all relying heavily on the pant-wetter tracker to see us through.

City win again at a canter

Brentford bottom by a long way

All other clubs somewhere between the two.

In a pile of football shirts
United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool top 4.
Palace will finish above us.
Southampton will finish below us.
We will be bottom 6, but won't get relegated.

On the Border
14 August - Albion go top of the table after a 7-0 win at Burnley
21 August - The home game against Watford is delayed by 4 hours after the new digital ticket approach fails, and 22,000 are still outside the ground at 14:45.
27 September - Sky still referencing the M23 Derby, which we win 3-0 and sees Palace at the foot of the table and still pointless.
3 October - The PL break their own VAR record with an offside check for a goal takes 8 minutes, a backlash follows given the speedy use of VAR at the Euros, and a review board is set up, which introduces a rule of the PL, of a maximum of 3 reviews and if not resolved the on field decision stands.
24 October Vieira sacked, and Alan Pardew is brought back.

..........

1 April Palace relegated with 7 games still to play
22 May Manchester City win league, Liverpool 2nd, Chelsea 3rd and Leeds 4th
Brighton finish 12th

Burnley and Norwich join Palace in being relegated

Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland and Portsmouth all fail to be promoted.

Where have I ever said my premier league prediction will be correct?

Can't possible see how I or others can make a stab at this until then, it would be virtually all guess work.

More detail is needed.

I never had you down for premature prediction.

United with Varane, Sancho and (seemingly now) the best LB in the World will be right up there.

Can you be delayed 2hrs 45mins before an event starts?
