Thought I'd just give possible heads-up well in advance of 8pm in case the Racehill transmitter's gone down or something and folks need to come up with alternative techie solutions to mirror images from laptop or Omsung Phine to TV or whatever. Gave heads-up to neighbours downstairs and they damn near burst into tears when they checked and failed to find a signal

Yes. Yes I have. Taking the positives, I've established that the TV clock mechanism is unaffected by this ill-timed outage. Sake!

I think ITV has detected you're Scottish. Have you tried taking the Denmark top off and putting a proper one on again?

You mention downstairs neighbours. Does this mean you're in a building that has one aerial fed to different flats?

Think you may have cracked it. Maybe I'll try adjusting the Quality Control levels down a notch or two for tonight's game

Oh Please! I'll have you know that my aerial feeds DIRECTLY into my state-of-the-art Chinese Freeview box. Job DONE!

All fine here. Have you checked that one of the other flats hasn't decided your aerial is the perfect flagpole for a GIGANTIC flag of St George ?
