walked the dog in the sunshine yesterday tee shirt weather . . . .had a cold shower this morning because the Flipping boilers on the blink. . . . the heating may go on tomorrow IF the spare part arrives!
It really IS quite nippy today. When I went home at lunchtime, I gave in and changed my shorts for jeans, and found some SOCKS.

Fired it up this afternoon, obviously just to check it worked

I was going to say 'no', but remembered in time I did turn on the little electric heater in the cold, north facing front room earlier - thanks for the reminder - I'll go and switch it off!

Fired it up today and hey presto! We are warm and toasty!
Unprecedented for September I only have 2 windows open.
3 have been shut over the last few days.

No. I am WFH and currently the only person in the house, so putting on the heating is not currently an option.
I HAVE however broken out my favourite Autumn/Winter woolly jumper. Its like meeting up with an old friend you haven't seen in a while.

Yes as comes on at 18 degrees and it was 17 in the house at 7am today .

Never mind the issue of whether heating on, my supplier Bulb has just emailed me suggesting I need to top up the credit on my account. Is that a good idea?
