I'm moving to Haywards Heath next Monday and just checked out Seagulls travel which is very convenient from where I'll be living.

but I hear there's a pub called the Savannah which runs a coach, is that true?

The Savannah is more of a poncy bar / restaurant than a pub, its on The Broadway.

I've also heard its run coaches in the past. No idea if it still does/will.

Based on the clientele last time I was in there*, sharing a coach with a bunch of coke-heads in their twenties from Savannah might not be your cup of tea either










*c 10 years ago - hopefully things have changed for the better

They should have done, people in their 30s can afford a better quality of coke.

Mid Sussex seagulls, good bunch easy travel to the Amex. Coaches have been run to away games for around 45 years from HH First coach was Aldershot away for £1. Had some great trips from there

As mentioned, it's Mid Sussex Seagulls not Savannah that run a double decker coach to home games. We are one of the many Supporters Clubs that have started up. We have been going for 10 years now.

We pick up in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath. A lot of the Haywards Heath members meet up in Savannah and The Orange Square before the match because the coach picks up opposite The Star in the Broadway,

We are usually full but we do have a waiting list. If members can't make a game we let fans on the waiting list know that seats are available.

We have a Facebook page and can be contacted at midsussexgulls@aol.co.uk. Please contact first. Do not turn up in the hope that there will be a space as we are usually full.
