seems the conclusion is everyone involved is at fault, which while true doesnt really help much. including a couple of stewards, probably just trained on where the fire exits are.

Seems unfair to blame some teenage stewards for not approaching him properly and therefore being blown up themselves, although probably with fewer casualties than actually occurred. Any teenage volunteers for this role? What can you really do to prevent a suicide bomber approaching any large gathering? Better risk assessments for the venue and better funded intelligence services but......

Anyone judged to be a significant terrorist threat to this country should, quite simply, not be walking our streets and should be detained indefinitely; and if we have to turn a blind eye to any human rights laws in the process of exercising such a policy, so be it.

Having done stewarding at a football club (which shall remain nameless), you are just given minimum wage with very little instruction and training. Seems mightily unfair to put blame onto them, which I’m sure for a young person already carriers a huge amount of guilt.
