Is 'Best' a relatively new way of signing off emails. I know Best Wishes has been around a bit but Best just seems a bit lazy and half cocked.

One of my colleges uses it all the time.
It bugs me too. So does Brgds.

Best is the new regards. Both lazy and a bit crap IMHO.

Yes agreed. Just write "All the best" like you would say in real life you lazy gets.

I've seen 'BR' before as well.

Frankly, if you can't be bothered to write the two words out in full, it rings a bit hollow, so don't bother your CS!

Always sign my emails off with Cheers.

Got pulled up once by my Borough Commander, but carried on regardless!
