Stunning achievement from OUR Ben!

This has suddenly made the Euro 2020 tournament unmissable.

I’m so incredibly proud of our POTS.

Well done and good luck Ben!

He looks every bit an England player in his performances. Excellent stuff Ben.

Is this about the England call up or a plot twist for series 17 of Line of Duty?

Wow - now I might actually hate Waistcoat Boy a little bit less. The irony being that the media have gone on about nothing else for the last week when in reality, it is almost certainly being the 26th cab off the rank. But an amazing achievement nonetheless.

So what squad number does he get? TAA’s old one, whatever that was?

I think if Southgate can stomach the loss of face that he could force his way into the starting XI. If they start with 3 at the back which is likely, I think White with Walker at RWB would be more defensively sound that Walker and James which is the other likely option.

Brilliant news!

I said on the other thread that JWP coming off at half time, meant decision made, Southgate had seen enough and JWP was going.

Very happy to have got that completely wrong! :)

Marvellous scenes!

Great achievement but I would have gone for Ward-Prowse.
In tight games, deep in extra time, free kick 25-30 out, no one better in the country. Congrats to Ben but its Southgate's natural defensiveness to the fore again.

Congratulations Ben White.
he looked really good in both games and the flexibility in terms of positions he can play made it very difficult for Southgate to overlook him
Ben White obviously should get the praise for what he has achieved Through his hard work and professionalism, but i also say well done to Graham Potter who has helped a lot, especially with developing Ben White as a very good defensive midfielder as well as a world class defender.
Great news for everyone and certainly got me very interested in the euros now.
Come on Brighton's Ben whites England!!
