Interesting selection and toss question this morning. It's not been an easy place to bat first in recent years.

Hopefully Ollie Robinson is in the starting line-up.

Ollie Robinson has been presented with his Test cap by Jon Lewis :clap2:

Last year when "Soul Limbo" played out I was quite emotional after the months that had gone before that some vision of normality was returning. Listening to it this morning it was nothing but expectation and excitement. Granted the excitement might only last until lunchtime today when New Zealand are 120/0 but right now it feels so, so good.

The sun is shining, TMS on the radio, Ollie Robinson making his test debut. Happy days

England with no spinner ... bold

That's a decent batting line-up for the Kiwis. Interesting to see how Conway takes to test cricket, he's a bit of a bish-bosh merchant. The task is to get Williamson out cheaply and the rest should follow

Root did say he has more confidence in his own bowling now. And Robinson has bowled spin at county level.
But after a downpour followed by 4-5 days of baking sun seems an odd decision. And not really conducive to not overworking people

Robinson will do well at Test level. Really confident for him. Just hope he isn't shelved if he has a couple of nervy early performances.

Love to hear Jeremy Coney and love to have the Kiwis here, a great country, have visited it just the once, could happily live there.

Teams batting first at Lords haven't done so well recently. Second innings often produces the best totals.

3 wickets for Robinson today (including Kane Williamson) ... There ... I've done it.

(Sorry everyone)

I was there when Ireland collapsed us in a heap two years ago. Day 2 was better cheering Leachy toward his hundred (then agony).

My favourite commentator - he's got a fantastic dry sense of humour

Love the NZ team, they all seem genuinely nice blokes, what a contrast to the other antipodeans
