I really didn't want to do a negative poll as I think we have the best three in the Prem, but can't figure a way for people to vote for their best/second best etc

So, this season who has been the weakest of our three centre backs ?

Not voting as I'd put them all pretty equal myself......and it's also how they work as a group.

Couldn't you have just asked people to rank them 1/2/3 rather than use another negative connotation ?

I won't vote on this. They all bring something different to the team.

Dunk's experience puts him ahead of the other 2.
Ben White is frighteningly good though.
Webster was my PoS up until his injury.
His performance at Anfield was exceptional.

When you consider that Veltman doesn't make the team when they're all fit.
Quite incredible

Veltman? I think he is as good as the other three in the center back role. And Burn is no pushover either.

White will eventually be the very best, and for longer (although not with us)



Now strap in for this hot take:-

When White and Webster collect the ball on the edge of our box.
Then carry it forward.
Beat, or play round, 3 or 4 opposition players.
Get to the edge of the other penalty area.

Well, when that happens, they both need to be better at passing.

All have their own attributes which is why we have been so good this season defensively. Dunk has leadership, great in the air and passing ability. White has great pace and passing and travelling with the ball, reads the game incredibly well. Webster a blend of the pair. Personally the other 2 are unlucky to miss out on an England call up as well. We are lucky to be blessed with such good CBs

I've never in my life supported a team where our third best centre back gets selected for England (and rightly so)

For someone who worshipped Alex Dawson, Eddie Spearitt and Stuart Henderson (who never gets a mention but I'm glad to see he's still going) it takes a little bit of getting used to ???

I’d say Webster although I find it tough saying that, I like the attacking side to White and Dunk cannot be bested!

81/82 Season, I thought Gatting and Nelson were better that Foster?
